Twenty Three DX9 and DX10 titles tested

Half-Life 2 Lost Coast (DX9)

This benchmark was released by Valve in October 2005, as a free technology demonstration for the Source Engine. Left 4 dead is the latest game using a tweaked up version of the Source Engine. Modern gaming cards do not break a sweat when running Source engine based games, but I have still included this in my set of benchmarks. To spice things up a little, I used 16 X QA.

The results show that TRI SLI is definitely working. Gameplay experience is not altered much going from dual to tri SLI but getting that sort of frame rates with 16 X QA, even with a slightly older engine is quite satisfying.
