Crysis Single Player

FPS at 2560 X 1600

This is what high resolution does to you in a lot of titles. In stark contrast to the lower resolutions, at 2560 X 1600 even a "lowly" 2.66 GHZ I7 is enough to feed even TRI SLI.

SLI Scaling at 2560 X 1600

Crysis Summary

Based on the results of the benchmarks, I feel that with GTX 285, your CPU requirements are minimal, owing to the graphically intensive nature of the game. With dual SLI , if you are running at sub 1920 X 1200 resolution, you might want to upgrade your CPU by a little bit. With three cards in action, you need a lot more horsepower at anything below 2560 X 1600. Surprisingly, GPU requirements diminish at 2560 X 1600. A stock I7 920, for example would provide adequate gameplay experience.
